{ REVIEW & GIVEAWAY } #HAAN SI75 Steam Mop

Spring cleaning time is here!!  Why bring out all the chemicals that smell and that someone you know and love could have sensitivities to?!  Wouldn’t you love to clean your house and kill 99.9% of germs with NO chemicals?  If so, keep reading!!

I had the opportunity recently to review HAAN’s newest steam mop, the SI75.  I had never heard of a steam mop until a friend mentioned that she had cleaned her house without the use of any chemicals.  When I heard “no chemicals”, I had to find out more!  I did a bit of research on the HAAN and thought this was the perfect solution for those with allergies or sensitivities to chemicals, to sanitize and disinfect.

The HAAN SI75 is their newest steam mop and brings power and finesse to the meaning of cleaning.  The SI75 steam mop cleans up to 99.9% of household germs, bacteria and dust mites without chemicals.  It’s super simple to set up out of the box and does not take long to get ready to use.  Just remove the water tank, fill, put back in the mop, and turn the power on.  It only takes 20 seconds to heat up and is ready to go.  So I thought I’d give it a try….mind you, I’ve got a 5 year old, two adults in the house and two 50lb. + dogs in the house.

This was taken in front of the refrigerator.  These floors are overdue for needing replaced and in this one, you can’t tell much of a difference.  It did get up the everyday dirt and grim but not the set in stains like I was hoping for.

When I mopped my floors, I specifically targeted my trouble spots: high traffic areas and other areas that had set in stains.  The mop had a challenge ahead!  Not only can the steam mop be used on vinyl floors but you can also use it on laminate, carpet (yes carpet!), door handles, bathtubs, toilets, counters, grout and much more!  The steam mop will not clean your carpets but does sanitize and disinfect them.

This picture was taken directly in front of the dog’s food and water bowls.  Needless to say….I hadn’t mopped on purpose so there was definitely some dirt to clean.  It most definitely did an excellent job on cleaning this trouble spot!  I was very impressed with the cleaning this mop did with NO chemicals!!

The floors were not my only trouble spots though.  The bathtub in the house looks like it has been here for the life of the house and could use a good steam clean!  I was super impressed with the job it did on cleaning what bleach didn’t even get rid of.

You can see, the dark spots on the lower left of the “BEFORE” picture are not in the “AFTER” picture.  I was truly amazed!!  I have scrubbed and scrubbed this bathtub and the HAAN SI75 steam mop was the only thing that was able to remove the yuck.

You may be asking, “is this steam mop really worth the $159.95″?  My answer is YES!  Especially if you’ve got someone in your family that is sensitive to chemicals!  There are so many options for cleaning with the steam mop and it does a great job.  You can use it as a floor cleaner or remove the hand held portion and use it with attachments to clean those hard to reach areas.  It is definitely worth the investment.

You will find the HAAN SI75 steam mop at your local Target store or you can visit HAAN’s website to order yours direct.  There will be limited quantities and may not be found at all Target stores.  If you’d like a chance to win a HAAN SI75 Steam Mop, fill out the form below to be entered into the giveaway!
